"Never take anything in life for granted..."

Today was an amazing day. Words can't really describe what I experienced on the Soweto tour, which was an emotional and educational experience for all of us. Therefore, photos it is:

  1. Hey Lauren!

I must say, I absolutely love catching up on your life in South Africa. It looks like an amazing experience. I miss you dearly and have been praying for your safety :)

Quick question: Is that picture of a group of children in a school?

Is anyone doing an article on the education system there? I'd be very interested :)

    Love you!

  2. Hi Kels! That picture wasn't taken at a school, it was at a community center in a Kliptown, a suburb of Soweto. There are actually a few of us covering the education system here in a week or so - it is much different than what we are used to (and very interesting)! I will be focusing one of my stories on education funding - I will keep you posted with mine and everyone elses too! I love and miss you! Thanks for commenting!
